Eliza update 3/9 9pm

Not much to add, except that the lung collapse appearsto have been more extensive than originally thought, so Eliza's respirator support was increased a bit overthe course of the day to give her some help in reinflating her lung. Sam was at the hospital while the EEG was running for a little less than an hour this afternoon; we don't have an official report yet, but based on his six weeks of intense training in reading these things, Sam reports that he saw nothing looking like a seizure, but brain activity that looked about the same as before (abnormal, or so we're told). I'll likely hear the official word from neurology when I go in tomorrow morning.

Thanks for all your words of encouragement. Today has certainly felt like a low day as compared to the high we experienced yesterday. But we continue to be steadfast in our trust that this time of trial will indeed end in a time of rejoicing.
